My name is Vince Panero. I work for Coconut Bliss as Director of Marketing. Their food ROCKS. Vegan/Organic/Gluten-free/Soy-free…amazing ice cream style dessert.

Before this current position, I worked at Yahoo! (which acquired Right Media LLC, my former employer/rocking start-up company). I produce/write videos and program manage education related to an online advertising product called APT. You can see some of my work-related videos on the APT website, and at YouTube.com/directmediaexchange . Currently working on a documentary–fun stuff.

I live in Eugene, Oregon. I have a family (including a dog named Simba, which is the random dog picture you may see from time to time on this site); surfing (when I get a chance) is my other love.

(The header image is my twin brother trimming a wave in Japan…great break, had some great waves there myself…just no camera around to capture the moment. We’re identical twins, so you wouldn’t notice the difference anyway. The handsome dude with the pipe is my father, RIP 2004 or so. Cool dude he was. )

More? Ok. I am enthusiastic about things like “sustainability”, “permaculture”, “gardening”, “green building”, “ecovillages”, “LOHAS”, community living (cohousing/ecovillages/etc)… and biking to work. I am also excited about the world of online advertising. Most of all, I am excited about how everyone can better reach customers AND make money from their websites to support their causes by embracing advertising on their sites.

All these ideas are timely (can you say “Obama”?). I celebrate their confluence. Ecology/nature–commerce/money–social justice. They are more interlinked than anyone would care to think, or would want to think.

I know Japanese as well; lived there throughout the 90’s. YOROSHIKU ONEGAI SHIMASU.
