It’s strange.

I’ve gone through life, crazy wonderful things have happened to me, and I’ve thought, “Wow…that’s big. That kind of thing won’t happen again.”

And it may not. But then it may.

The fact that a tech giant like MSFT might buy the company that I landed in after my last fireball of a company was acquired in a blaze of glory and wisdom…well, all of this is a little overwhelming. Lightning striking twice? Such was the feeling I got this morning when I read some blog post about Microsoft’s proposal. And I started reading others, and it came over me…deja vu. :)

And now to think this all may (or may not) happen again–another acquisition?

Life doesn’t have seat belts–just hold on.

And finally, the celebratory ‘acquisition shot’ tonight shared by some co-workers of mine at the “Starlight Lounge” here in Eugene. Yeah, we don’t know what will happen, but any reason is a good reason to throw back some El Patron and red grenadine (I just took the picture).
