My ‘PermaClips’ Green Video Series: Coming Soon
Woohoo! I am almost done with my series of PermaClip Videos. These are DIY style ‘howto’ videos that range from constructing a quality compost pile to fashioning your own bamboo ‘bombilla’. I filmed friends and experts in the field who know their stuff. Should be fun.
As you can see, I threw a teaser ad together (right sidebar) to pay homage to this project that I’ve worked on-and-off on over the last year.
One of the places I filmed at — Maitreya Eco-Village — also just had it’s founders filmed for ‘Wife Swap’! LOL! (Though I’d like to think ABC filmed them to disseminate the importance of sustainability to their ABC viewership, I am not holding my breath. Still, maybe some people will take something ’sustainable’ from it that’s beneficial…besides mere amusement for 40 minutes of an hour.)
I also filmed onsite at Lost Valley Educational Center; they are just starting-up their EcoVillage Permaculture Certification Program for the summer. So…here’s hoping I can find some free time to do some final editing on them videos in the next week or so.

[…] I just added a new blog over on my blogroll -> The Green V. It’s the blog of a fellow I know through my participation in the Heart of Now Community. He’s got an interesting mix of personal, social, sustainability, and net-life commentary. It’s good stuff. One interesting bit of content he’s working on is his ‘PermaClips’, how to videos on permaculture. I’m not sure if he’ll be charging for access to the content or not.. I hope not, because it promises to be some good stuff (I got to see one of the first ones last year).
