If there’s anything you do in the next 16 hours, go to this link:
Year Round Home for Lane County Farmer’s Market
…and vote for that idea. There has been interest in a Permanent Farmer’s Market in Eugene, OR for a number of years, so we’re just a few votes away from getting a $10K grant for it. Also, you don’t need to reside in Eugene to vote. (full disclosure: I am not affiliated with the ideablob site–I just want to see us get a Permanent Farmer Market happening). Ok. There it is.
Go here and vote (before midnight on 5/31/08).

OK, here’s what’s been going on:
Been busy over the last months creating things for work and traveling to and from a little airport I never knew existed: Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA. It’s also just about 500-600 yards away from Yahoo!’s Burbank office.
I’ve been working from home, and on the road weekly.

I’ve also been back to notice the cold spells that have been surprising most of my friends here in Eugene. I also caught that traditional cold one gets just before pollen production goes nuts, and a lot of noses run. Ces’t la vie: a nice way to slide into allergy season. :)
But I love this little town Eugene, hay fever and all. I’ve also planted just over 40 trees and berries in my back yard–I love daylight after 5:00! Got my bee hive up and running, new fence(s) installed, 7th anniversary (and Deb totally fell for the surprise party I put on). And my Mom visited. So…no blog posts. :)
