One point first off: as our CEO put it in a blog post this evening, “the acquisition will in no way afford Yahoo! any unfair advantage in the Exchange”. That’s why we’re different.
We’ve been an open exchange, and we’ll continue to be an open exchange. If there is another online advertising market place out there as busy and as transparent as ours, please feel free to leave me a comment! :-)

Thank you Mike Walrath and everyone else for making all this happen! Thank you Terry Semel and everyone else for making this happen! Thank you everybody else for making this happen!!!
In this moment, I only feel excitement. For such a large, mature AND dynamic company like Yahoo! to do this, it makes me feel proud: our mutual efforts have paid off.

I will try to update this post with more information as it rolls in. Tomorrow shall be an interesting today…

And if you’re curious about what we are, here’s a video I made explaining one of our products, Direct Media Exchange — just one way to access the greater Right Media Exchange. The platform Direct Media Exchange (formerly RMX Direct) is the one for which I act as Community Education Manager. For more info over all, check out the company blog and the company website.

Wait…I got to say it.

Yahoo!!!!

(click on the “!” in the “Yahoo” icon on their website…and you can hear their trademarked yodel…)

I am riding my bike to work tomorrow wearing a tuxedo and my black Stetson…
